Meet The Owner
Spotted Dog STP was founded in 2024 by Colton Ryan. Born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL, Colton has 10+ years of pet care experience and graduated from Eckerd College in 2022 with a degree in Animal Studies and a focus in the psychological behaviors of dogs. Colton has worked in a variety of different fields in the pet service industry including working at a doggy daycare, a dog bar, doing behavioral research in college, and working through Rover before taking the steps to create a pet care business of his own.
Meet The Spotted Dog
The pup behind the brand is none other than Colton's pride and joy, Mookie. She was said to be born on May 2nd, 2017, in Macon, Georgia. Mookie was later abandoned in the woods before being rescued in May of 2019. From there, she was shipped down to Florida in order to avoid being sent to a euthanasia shelter. A few days later, Colton met her in SPCA Largo's shelter and the two have been inseparable ever since. Mookie likes sunbathing, boat rides, cuddling, and absolutely loves people!
